That
part of Scubaturk.Net is especially designed for people
who is interested in scubadiving, but never had chance
to make their big first step. Nowadays scubadiving
always seems like a difficult, far to reach activity for
people who are living in big cities and who only can
spend a few week at seaside only in their summer
vacations. The other big problem is, what we refer to
as, "diving myths",
which
arise from unanswered questions in everbodies minds.
“Who
can dive?”
The answer to that question is very straight
forward. Anybody who is older than 10, who can
manage to breath, healthy and has interest in
scubadiving can dive. (People with disabilities can
also dive with the guidance of a medical doctor).
“I
am not a good diver, can I dive?”
You
do not have to be an olimpic swimmer to dive. Being
able swim and keeping yourself on the surface of the
water, without taking help from somebody else, is
enough to begin your scubadiving lessons. (In
swimming your aim is to keep yourself on the surface
of water and move your body to maintain this, but in
diving your aim is to sink down and move as little
as possible to lenghten your dive time and be able
to keep yourself on the surface).
